  Great to use on Wallboard, masonry, or wallpapered surfaces that have recently been painted or wallpapered; primed or previously painted plaster on wood or metal; and freshly painted or coated acoustical ceilings.

  On the majority of surfaces, ben® Premium Acrylic Paint & Primer, Satin/Pearl Finish self-primes. It will serve as its own primer, laying the best possible groundwork for the ensuing finish coat. Two coats are needed for raw substrates; one or two coats will do for previously painted surfaces. Although Benjamin Moore advises two coats of this product to obtain complete color development and to maximize paint film performance, our high-quality formulations sometimes allow for one-coat application.
